Wellbeing, wildlife & technology: where is the balance?

The Integrated Land Use conference will take place 24 - 26 March 2026 in, and around Carrbridge.

This year will be focussing on finding the balance between wellbeing, wildlife and the use of technology. Many aspects will be presented and discussed by professionals from different sectors.

The event will be packed with a mix of field-based and conference-style activities and talks. The speakers will share their knowledge and specialist expertise in the sector, and it will be a fantastic networking opportunity. We are looking forward to seeing you all at the conference.

*The full conference student ticket includes 3 days of conference, 2 B&B, 2 dinners, 2 lunches and teas/coffees. The daily rate ticket includes 1 day of conference, lunch (except for the 24 March) and teas/coffees. Please note that accommodation will be in same gender shared twin rooms. Only a very limited number of single occupancy rooms are available for an extra fee and will be attributed on the first come first served basis. Any non-student delegate (except for presenters) is expected to pay the daily rate for the number of days attended and to secure their own accommodation.

Please remember to bring your packed lunch for the first day (24 March), warm clothes including gloves and hat, your waterproofs and wellies/outdoor boots as the weather can be highly variable at this time of the year. If you have any question, please email us at iluc@uhi.ac.uk
